My father bought this acoustic electric Ovation guitar for me in 1995. I have though this was an entry level guitar made by Ovation that day.
It sounds good and loud. Low tones is very solid. The rounded back produces good projection. The aged wood produce nice overtones and resonance.
The sound is on the warm side, depends on the string type.
Came with op-24+ preamp. The string action feels soft and nice to play.
Made in USA.
Haven't played it for along time.
Someone asked me, "What makes it Entry Level @ $1500.00 ?"
My answer is, at that time this was one of the most affordable guitar made in usa by ovation. But with more aged it did sounds as good as other more expensive ovation guitars.
$ 1,500
